Speaking of Turkeys, leaving for Turkey (& Greece and a couple days in London) in about 90 minutes.  Catch you kids later.  Check in on the pregnant wife for me.  I'll be back on June 1.

TurkeyHat Is Leaving (sort of)

The blog is not as used as it once was.  Also, with the kiddo on the way in October I want to reduce some expenses (this blog is about 20$/month).

I will continue to purchase the domain name ($20/year) and will point the blog to one of the free blog services.  What does this mean?

• Loss of *some* features is probable
• Posters will need to re-register and create a new account
• Existing photo galleries will go away -- if there are pictures you want, copy 'em now!
• ALL ARCHIVED POSTS WILL DISAPPEAR.  This is the big one.  If you want to reminisce, do it while you can.

This will all probably occur some time during the month of June, maybe July.

Beard Competition: Oh, the Beauty

Wordsmith's word of the day category of the week is beards/facial hair.  With today's word, sideburns, they posted a link to some beard site, http://worldbeardchampionships.com/.  We're a bunch of posers compared to these guys.  The freestyle category is amazing.
